I'm a huge fan of B5. I own all five season on DVD and am currently in the process of another rewatch.

As Wikipedia notes this song "has become so identified with them that many fans mistakenly assume it to be a Priest original (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Green_Manalishi#Judas_Priest_versions). I have posted the live version from 1979.

I loved the novel of "Logan's Run" and it's sequel "Logan's World". The third book in the trilogy, "Logan's Search", added little to the series however. It seems like a rehash/cash grab.

Since you like The Avengers, check out "The Seeds of Doom" (1976). It was written by Robert Banks Stewart, author of two Avengers scripts. In addition, it is supposed to be similar to the 1965 Avengers episode "Man-Eater of Surrey Green".

I'm sure it is. But I don't have all the seasons memorized, and the presentation of the threads did not immediately clue me in that they were all first season serials. Oh, and I don't drink Mountain Dew or any sugary beverages, caffeinated or not. I drink black coffee - no cream, no sugar.

Since the sticky threads don't all have the year in the title, I didn't realize that they represented the complete first season. Thanks for the explanation.

As the subject says, why are there so many sticky threads? They literally fill the screen, and I have to scroll down to see the regular threads.

I've never seen this movie in its entirety. They showed it three years ago at the Science Fiction Marathon I attend, but I slept through all but the last fifteen minutes. Having seen the ending, I can't say I made a bad decision. However, watching the trailer just now, I'm sorry I slept...

I loved this show when I was a kid, but I tried to rewatch some of it in the last few years and could not get into it all. However, I did watch the entire Green Hornet series fairly recently, and that did hold up IMO.

Great show! I own all four seasons on DVD. And the two made for TV movies will be released on DVD as a reasonably priced double-feature in June.

I love this series. I own many episodes, including "Space Mutiny", on DVD. My favorite MST3K experiment is "Pod People". The first time I saw that I was laughing so hard I was literally in pain!

But how do you explain that the apes were so shocked when Taylor spoke, while the humans of the TV series talked all the time?

I hated Mel too. IMO one of the most annoying companions of all time!

Until I watched the videos you posted, I'd hadn't seen anything from this series in ages. I didn't remember the opening theme song, but it's horrible! What's with those annoying "woo woo woo" sound effects? The preview however actually makes the series look pretty good.
