Plot:

Aardman Animations and StudioCanal have released a new trailer for “Early Man,” the upcoming pre-historic claymation comedy adventure film from the makers of “Wallace & Gromit” and “Shaun the Sheep”.

Eddie Redmayne, Tom Hiddleston, Maisie Williams, Timothy Spall, Richard Ayoade, Selina Griffiths, Johnny Vegas, Mark Williams, Gina Yashere, Simon Greenall and Richard Webber lend their voices to the cast of the film which Nick Park is directing.

Set at the dawn of time, when prehistoric creatures roamed the earth, Early Man tells the story of courageous caveman hero Dug (Eddie Redmayne) and his best friend Hognob as they unite his tribe against a mighty enemy Lord Nooth (Tom Hiddleston) and his Bronze Age City to save their home.

“Early Man” opens February 16th 2018.

Details: Marking his first true original film since 2000’s “Chicken Run,” filmmaker Nick Park helms this $50 million budgeted stop motion animated film set at the dawn of time when prehistoric creatures and woolly mammoths roamed the earth. Eddie Redmayne voices Dug, a caveman who – along with his pet sidekicks Hognob and Goona – unites his tribe against Lord Nooth (Tom Hiddleston) and his Bronze Age City to save their home. Lionsgate has picked up the film for U.S. distribution in mid-February.
