Less well known than Hitchhikers is Adams creation, Dirk Gently's holistic detective agency.
Two books, the first one, titled as above, the second, The Long Dark Teatime Of The Soul. The third book, The Salmon Of Doubt , not completed due to Adams untimely death.
Harry Enfield starred as Dirk in radio adaptation and Stephen Mangan in the tv version on 2010. The plot is very convoluted typical Adams, but worth persevering with.
