The Broken Lizard team are back with the sequel to their most beloved comedy, “Super Troopers,” sixteen years later.

The first teaser trailer, suitably red-band, has arrived for the film and confirms the hinted at April 20th 2018 release date suggested by cast member Steve Lemme last week.

In the new film a border dispute arises between the U.S. and Canada, and the Super Troopers are tasked with establishing a Highway Patrol station in the disputed area.

The teaser confirms Brian Cox is also back for the follow-up which also stars Rob Lowe, Lynda Carter, Marisa Coughlan, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Will Sasso and Tyler Labine.

Seventeen years after the first film, the Broken Lizard comedy troupe are back with their follow-up title “Super Troopers 2”.

The sequel reunites the squad: Thorny (Jay Chandrasekhar), Foster (Paul Soter), Mac (Steve Lemme), Rabbit (Erik Stolhanske), and Farva (Kevin Heffernan) who are back for more antics, along with Captain John O’Hagen (Brian Cox) and Officer Ursula Hanson (Marisa Coughlan).

The Indiegogo-funded sequel finds the troopers in the midst of a border dispute between Canada and the U.S., putting the Highway Patrol team on duty north of the border.

Linda Carter, Rob Lowe, Fred Savage, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Will Sasso, Tyler Labine, and Hayes MacArthur co-star in the film which arrives in theaters on April 20th.

I am so excited for this! The first one is a classic, and the sequel looks to be just as good.

I went out and seen the movie on 4/20 since I did throw in a few bucks into the campaign fund in 2015. I liked it, I didn't care to much for the opening but I liked the majority of the movie. I'm glad it out did the I Feel Pretty movie over the weekend. The ST2 movie isn't the funniest movie out there, but it's worth a watch if your a fan of the Broken Lizard movies.


The movie has all the original cast in the movie, a few cameos, and has some nice laughs. There is 1 scene at the ending credits, then bloopers, then one scene after the credits. I didn't know about the very end one, and I'm sort of glad I missed it.
