Russell, Bledel, Hemsworth Join Thriller “Crypto”
Kurt Russell, Alexis Bledel, Beau Knapp, Luke Hemsworth, Jeremie Harris and Vincent Kartheiser are all set to star in John Stalberg’s indie money laundering thriller “Crypto”.
Carlyle Eubank and David Frigerio (“The Signal”) penned the tale in which Knapp plays a young anti-money laundering agent tasked with investigating a tangled web of corruption and fraud in his remote New York hometown.
He soon becomes caught up in a dangerous underworld which includes the likes of a cyber-sleuth (Harris), a corrupt accountant (Kartheiser) and a mysterious art dealer (Bledel). Russell and Hemsworth play the agent’s father and brother respectively who are struggling to maintain their family farm.
Jordan Yale Levine, Jordan Beckerman and David Frigerio will produce. Filming is currently underway in New York.
