Review Whodunnit

First Edward Woodward and then Jon Pertwee presented this unique panel show, where a crime was dramatised and you had to guess... well, whodunnit!

These episodes are like celebrity time capsules now as you watch people like Harry H. Corbett as themselves and alongside other celebrities of the time. :emoji_alien:

The killer with a conscience and the Earthbound foppish Time Lord. This was the first TV show I saw Jon Pertwee in after DOCTOR WHO.

And if Patrick Mower was on it at the same time as Edward Woodward, that would have felt weird for any CALLAN fans - like me.

The title, Whodunnit, starring Jon Pertwee, always struck me as one of those unlikely coincidences, like Gareth Thomas playing Brake, in Children of the Stones before he played Blake.

But surely that's why we notice and comment on coincidences... Because they seem unlikely.

A similar thing with Capaldi in the film World War Z, playing a Doctor, working at the W.H.O. Institute.

It makes my gullible brain wonder if there were some cosmic force at play! :emoji_nerd:

Got the DVD of this and recently saw an episode with an incredible eclectic panel of, Kingsley Amiss, Jackie Collins, Pete Murray , and er Arthur Mullard. Entertaining.
Paul Darrow is in the episode 'Date with Death ' aka Dead Cert, haven't seen it yet, apparently playing a transvestite.
