Review Virginia McLaurin: 109 y.o.

My sad assumption was that she might have since passed away.

Not so, having celebrated her 109th birthday earlier this year.....

A belated happy birthday to Mrs. McLaurin. Really happy for her to have been lucky enough to live such a long life. Having said that, there is a public record that states her birth year as 1917, so she might be a few years younger than claimed. Reaching the 110 milestone, age-wise, is becoming more and more common than in the past, but it's still rare enough to warrant an investigation into whether or not a person really is that old.
