Netflix Fills Out Full “Lost Girls” Cast
Amy Ryan (“Beautiful Boy”), Thomasin McKenzie (“Leave No Trace”), Gabriel Byrne (“Hereditary”), Oona Lawrence (“The Beguiled), Lola Kirke (“Mozart in the Jungle”), Miriam Shor (“The Americans”), Reed Birney (“The Blacklist”), Kevin Corrigan (“Results”) and Dean Winters (“Battle Creek”) have been announced as the cast for the upcoming film “Lost Girls” at Netflix.
The story centers on a mother searching for her missing daughter who makes a horrifying discovery in the woods along the South Shore barrier islands of Long Island where the murdered bodies of four girls – all petite twentysomething online sex workers – have been carefully dumped.
The project, an adaptation of the true crime novel by Robert Kolker, marks documentary filmmaker Liz Garbus’ first narrative feature and has been penned by Michael Werwie. It was previously setup at Amazon Studios and had Sarah Paulson linked to star last year.
