From radio versions of your favourite, to vinyl sound effects records....

Radio plays - or interviews with your favourite idols....

Or perhaps you have memories of holding a microphone up to the television and recording your favourite shows and films....

What are your audio memories?

A horror collector friend of mine had this on audio cassette and I borrowed it off him,

Great stuff, penned by Victor Pemberton and starring Vincent Price and Coral Browne......

That cover looks a bit copyright-busting though!

I did the whole "holding the microphone up to the television" thing and remember recording....

GORGO
COUNTESS DRACULA
THE BEAST FROM 20,000 FATHOMS
THE GHOST OF FRANKENSTEIN
FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE WOLF MAN
TWINS OF EVIL
HAMMER HOUSE OF HORROR: THE SILENT SCREAM

BLAKE'S 7: SEASON 4
MOST OF THE DAVISON DOCTOR WHO ERA
DOCTOR WHO: SEASON 22

Then my dad stopped being so stingy and invested in a VHS recorder.

Frankly, I was pleased!

The same friend had the following episode of an old radio show, starring Boris Karloff, on vinyl too.....

Inner Sanctum Mysteries Aired 1941 - 1952 & Were Stories Of Mystery, Horror & Suspense With Your Host Raymond.
This episode is titled Bird Song For A Murderer. Originally aired 02/14/1949.
