Review CATWEAZLE: THE MAGIC CIRCLE - Episode 25

A good episode and like the penultimate episode of series 1 Catweazle has a revelation regarding his time travels. This time though it's bad news, he can never go home, at least not by water. Groome chases Catweazle across the lawns of King's Farthing and Cat falls in the moat, and bounces out bone dry.
Water has rejected him, he is now trapped in the twentieth century.
Groome of course can't believe what he saw and tells Lord Collingford who immediately gets a psychiatrist in. Benjamin Fenwick is his name, a nicely played character, slightly eccentric, and he sees Catweazle on his tricycle and rides off in pursuit on his two wheeler. At Duck Halt they come face to face for a cosy session and the doc is convinced of Cat's madness until he sees him jumping in the moat and bouncing out.
It's quite amusing tale and we wait in anticipation for the finale next episode, when we see what the thirteenth sign will be. Pisces this week presented no difficulties. The episode ends with two threads dangling, the thirteenth sign and the lost treasure of the Collingford's. There's a fair bit of padding this episode with Groom's and the bike race scenes that went on a bit and added nothing to the plot, but overall good.
9/10

Catweazle and psychiatrist, who ends up getting confused as Catweazle is not his normal type of patient.
" give me the thirteenth sign and we shall fly"
