Tony Selby as a shouty sergeant, a box of grenades, Catweazle thinking that grenades are the philosopher's stones, and war games in the woods with soldiers disguised as walking trees, it all adds to the mayhem. As Catweazle says " when trees walk, the philosopher's stone is near"
Selby in " Glitz" mode is a joy as he interrogates Catweazle, and as the two sides in the war games are called Green and Blue Demons, we can see what will happen. Is Cat a green or blue demon?
" nay , I am Catweazle" and when he steals a grenade,
" don't pull out the pin"
" pin? ..this?"
Of course he pulls it out!
Funny also as Colonel Dickenson finds Selby's Sergeant Jones cowering under the table,
" pull yourself together Jones"
" but sir, he's got a live grenade, and he's as mad as a hatter"
As last episode the zodiac sign is cleverly woven into the story, this time, Capricorn, a goat? Well a goat can be the sign of the devil...a demon.
