Trailer: David MacKenzie’s “Damnation” Series
“Starred Up” and “Hell or High Water” director David Mackenzie both executive produces and directed the pilot for USA’s new western drama “Damnation” and today the network has released a new promo trailer for it.
“Logan” helmer James Mangold is also onboard as producer on the series which hails from “Longmire” creator Tony Tost and is set in the 1940s.
The story follows Killian Scott as a phony preacher trying to start an uprising in a small Iowa town overrun by a greedy business tycoon. Logan Marshall-Green also stars as a strikebreaker and enforcer for said tycoon who also happens to be the preacher’s brother.
“Damnation” premieres in October.
