The first of the Amicus portmanteaus and probably one of the best! I have the Anchor Bay disc with the French titles and virtually no extras but it's a good print! Plus I have the original 1964 paperback which I still haven't read even after having it for twenty odd years!

Now that's spooky, Johnny. Yesterday, I randomly picked that book from my shelf yesterday, flipped through the pages and pondered whether it was worth a read, while noting that it was the same John Burke who did the Hammer Horror Omnibuses.

Out of all the books I could have picked up, it happened to be the same one you mention today. :emoji_alien:

Makes me wonder if there is even such a thing as coincidence sometimes!

I am glad that, whoever created this computer generated reality (that we are allegedly living in), remembered to add in some classic films like DR. TERROR'S HOUSE OF HORRORS and the Universal Frankenstein's etc. to amuse and entertain us. :emoji_alien:
