I remember a lot of hype for this at the time of release, but it seems to be a little overlooked an neglected now.

I still own this large format hardback, annotated edition of Stoker's novel that they released at the time......

Some years later John Badham went back and drained a lot of the colour out of the film - and that rather bloodless looking version is still the one we have to this day.
