A lot happening here. A professor Vashrevsky arrives in Edinburgh ostensibly to investigate gravestone vandalism and paganism, but he knows Roy, who has some connections with the Omega group. Tom is convinced he is seeing his dead wife alive in streets of Edinburgh, and follows her, but loses her. He later sees her again and sets off in pursuit.
Anne has discovered Tom is taking tablets , but he denies it, and Anne wonders if he is being mind controlled to take them as they have possible hallucinogenic effects.
