This is a philosophical puzzle in epistemology, the study of knowledge, that I came across years ago, and I still haven't quite got my head around this one.

The answer to this I think lies in realising that two questions are being conflated here.
What is the probability of the coin landing heads is 50/50, but Sleeping Beauty is not asked that when she is woken.
She is asked her credence that it landed heads, but she doesn't know if it's Monday or Tuesday because of the memory wipe drug that she had if she was woken on Monday. So from her perspective it could be either Monday or Tuesday. So therefore either Heads/Monday, Tails/Monday or Tails/Tuesday, so two of the three possible wakings are tails to one heads, so her credence that on Sunday the coin landed heads is one third not one half.
Here's the puzzle again maybe explained better.
