Evolution is an observed natural phenomena like the aurora borealis, the color yellow, tornadoes, or sun dogs. The Theory of Evolution is an attempt to explain the mechanisms behind the natural phenomena. But you often hear, "Evolution is just theory," and that is false. Evolution is as much a fact as the sunrise yesterday and is not contested by science. You also often hear that evolution cannot be observed, like gravity, which is partially true. Gravity is everywhere. Tornadoes are not. I have never personally seen a tornado but I do not contest that they exist. Some natural phenomena require that you be in a specific place at a certain time, some require advanced technology to witness, and some require study and education to recognize.
