A young woman discovers she has the extraordinary power of teleportation.

This series is a spin off from the JUMPER books....

In response to the film's box office performance, director Doug Liman has spoken of his ideas for a sequel. Among them are that Jumpers can reach other planets and travel in time, as well as their capacity for espionage. He has also stated that Rachel Bilson's character would learn how to jump (hinted by David falling unconscious before the jump from the river to the library), just as in Gould's sequel, Reflex.[44]

A spin off from the film, titled "Impulse",[45] is meant to stream on 2018 through YouTube Red with Doug Liman as director and writer.

The first trailer has been released for “Impulse,” the upcoming YouTube Red TV series adaptation of Steven Gould’s “Jumper” series.

Maddie Hasson plays a rebellious teen who has always felt different from her peers and has longed to escape from her seemingly quaint small town. She soon discovers she has the extraordinary ability to teleport at will.

Missi Pyle, Sarah Desjardins, Enuka Okuma, Craig Arnold and David James Elliott co-star in the series which is being directed and executive produced by filmmaker Doug Liman who directed the Hayden Christensen-led “Jumper” film adaptation a decade ago.

Universal Cable Productions and Hypnotic are slated to produce the series which premieres this Summer.
