First Trailer For History’s “Knightfall” Series

After much success with “Vikings,” History has set a Wednesday, December 6th premiere date for its new ten-episode historical drama series “Knightfall”.

Created by Don Handfield and Richard Rayner, the series goes inside the medieval politics and warfare of the Knights Templar, the most powerful, wealthy and mysterious military order of the Middle Ages.

Years after the fall of the city of Acre, where the Holy Grail is lost, a clue emerges suggesting its whereabouts. The Templars, led by the noble, courageous and headstrong Templar Knight Landry (Tom Cullen), head out on a life or death mission to find the lost Cup of Christ.

“Knightfall” goes deep into the clandestine world of this legendary brotherhood of warrior monks to find out who these knights were, how they lived, and what they died believing.

A+E Studios, Jeremy Renner’s The Combine and Midnight Radio have teamed to produce the drama which unleashed its first trailer today. Check it out below:

Knightfall
History’s medieval drama series “Knightfall” had the third-best cable drama launch of 2017, pulling in 1.8 million total viewers – behind only “Feud: Bette and Joan” and “The Son,” and tied with “Taboo”.

The series, set after the fall of the city of Acre, goes inside the medieval politics and warfare of the Knights Templar. The group was the most powerful, wealthy and mysterious military order of the Middle Ages and Tom Cullen plays a knight for the order sent out on a life or death mission to find the lost Cup of Christ.
