A comedy sketch show, with a pilot in'89 and three series from 90-93. Lampooning the early years of satellite tv, particularly Sky Tv. Angus Dayton and Geoffrey Perkins were the stars of this funny show.
Each episode highlighted the inept satellite tv station KYTV attempts to do a themed evening, with terrible links,ridiculous guests, plenty of hyperbole and things generally going wrong.

The third and final series hasn't been released on DVD so I've watched it for the first time on youtube. This last episode is brilliantly done. Angus Deayton was terrific as was Geoffrey Perkins who was known mostly for his role as producer and director, including producing the original Hitchhikers radio show. Perkins founded Hatrick productions, and was involved in developing Spitting Image, Father Ted and Have I got news for You.
This last episode is KYTV's holiday show, a p**s-take of bad holiday programs. Very funny.
