Easy one, you pick what in your opinion was the best movie of 2016 and what was the worst movie of 2016. You may obviously back up your answers with little reviews if you'd like.

It's become a running gag for me and a few friends that I have seen way more movies than any of them has and yet I've never seen Rocky. In fact I decided to make it ever funnier that I even bought the Blu-Ray and yet I still haven't seen it.

    - and yes I've seen Creed.

Hammer Presents Dracula Full Dramatised Vinyl LP

For those that have never heard it, a real rarity.

I still have this on vinyl myself, and it is still playable, if you ignore the many pops, crackles and scratches!

's funny you mention this, cause this very movie was just added to Shudder's movie library.

    Referring to Dracula.

    My IMDB "Watched" list.
    http://www.imdb.com/list/ls070755251/

Post yours - my best source for new (to me) films to see were other people's recommendations. Anytime I finished a film, I was immediately on IMDB, looking for the "If I liked this, what else would I like" post that was inevitably there.

I think we need a thread dedicated to the strengths and weaknesses of both Hammer and Amicus, and pit the two studios against each other and see who comes out on top.

My guess is it would be Hammer, but Amicus had some damned fine output as well.

I loved Amicus for their anthology films. They certainly had the edge on Hammer there i.m.o.

Their anthology films are near perfect. I still love seeing a pre-Doctor Who Tom Baker in THE VAULT OF HORROR.

:)~ For me the best movies I've seen in 2016 is Loving and Batman vs Superman. As for the worst would have to be Office Christmas Party,

Who don't love a bad movie? They are fun to watch, maybe bad graphics, or the plot don't add up.

What are some of your favorites?

The Room still cracks me up.

Give me any Ed Wood film over most of the big budget Hollywood films cranked out these days. Or some Full Moon Entertainment.

Batman and Robin. Really stupid movie, but (in my opinion) its a nice throwback to the old 1960's Batman with Adam West. It helps if I consider the movie a parody of Batman rather than an actual adaptation.

The Cat in the Hat. I can't stand some of the adult humor in the movie, and the screenplay is terrible, but the movie is freakin' hilarious.

    Sharknado (2013)
Sharknado 2: The Second One (2014)
Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! (2015)
    Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens (2016)

These have to be the dumbest movies out there, but my family and I still love to get together every time a new one is released.
