Moray Watson died on 2 May 2017, aged 88.

Born on 25 June 1928, he was an English actor from Sunningdale, Berkshire in the UK. Throughout his extensively long career in film, stage and TV, he appeared in many different productions. On stage, he appeared in productions in both the UK and the USA, including THE DOCTOR'S DILEMMA, THE RIVALS and THE PRIVATE EAR AND THE PUBLIC EYE.

However, it was on TV where he was at his most prolific. Over the years he had appeared in many, many productions, including THE QUATERMASS EXPERIMENT, THE SAINT, SILAS MARNER, THE AVENGERS, Z-CARS, CATWEAZLE, UPSTAIRS, DOWNSTAIRS, THE PALLISERS, QUILLER, RETURN OF THE SAINT, YES MINISTER, RUMPOLE OF THE BAILEY, THE PROFESSIONALS, PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, TALES OF THE UNEXPECTED, DOCTOR WHO, MISS MARPLE, MINDER, STAR COPS, THE NEW STATESMAN, THE DARLING BUDS OF MAY, THE VICAR OF DIBLEY, KAVANAGH QC, MIDSOMER MURDERS and MY FAMILY, just to mention a few.

He will be sadly missed.
