Visually stunning. But a bad film.
Weird story. The wife and I were coming out of the theatre after seeing this one, and I asked who we were going to war with. She asked me to lower my voice, and then asked what the hell I was talking about. I explained that in a short period we had this, SAVING PRIVATE RYAN and a couple of other films that inspired swelling patriotism, and was curious if Hollywood knew something we didn't, that we were going to war soon, and America needed to be injected with pro-America rhetoric. Then a couple of months later, I got my answer.
