Robert Axelrod, a guitarist-turned-actor best known as the voice of the Power Rangers' arch nemesis Lord Zedd, has died. He was 70 and had been in ill health for the past year.
This is a tough one. I'm a longtime Power Rangers fan, grew up with the show, and Zedd is my favorite villain the Rangers have ever faced. He certainly left an impression is his debut appearance in "The Mutiny - Part 1," in which he ousts previous head villain Rita Repulsa.
Another memorable moment was when he entered Zordon's Command Center to broker a deal involving Kimberly, the Pink Ranger.
