Your thoughts on this episode.....

Avon, Cally and Vila investigates a derelict spacecraft. When they return to The Liberator, they find something else has also returned with them, and Cally finds herself under the influence of a alien woman that assumes Cally's appearance and requires the crew to transport her back to her home planet, and only Avon can stop her.

One of my favourites.

I like both Tanith Lee's episodes.

The opening was a bit baffling to me as a kid. The relationship between Avon and Cally is sensitively handled here. And Avon and Tarrant at odds is a great scene:

"I apologise for not realising that you are deaf!"

Dayna gets a nice song. The Vila "Master of Illusion" scene is very odd indeed.

There is a certain atmosphere to this episode that really works.

Jan Chappell finally gets something to do. She plays the alien god-thing very well.
