I have recently watched this series. It started out flumsy but it get better and better. There are some heroic gladiators, some stupid or downright treacherous ones; but at the end of it, we care for the fate of them all.
Only after I finished watching Season 1, I discovered that Andy is no longer with us. Such a loss.
