I think that this film is just a complete waste of fan time and money.

Why lower yourself with fighting to play in someone else's sandpit? Especially when Paramount clearly want you to get lost.

Go and make your own totally original film set in your own totally original universe elsewhere - and let Paramount make rubbish new Trek of their own, without shoddy fan productions to help them.
