Your thoughts on this movie.....

Earth's mightiest heroes must come together and learn to fight as a team if they are going to stop the mischievous Loki and his alien army from enslaving humanity.

Lots of fun.

Hulk worked very nicely and the whole gang fighting for truth, justice and whatnot was entertaining stuff.

Avengers was a masterclass in how to write a multi-lead-actor story. Six leads all getting roughly equal screen time (Jeremy Renner lost out a bit in the final cut). Demonstrates the benefits of having the characters set up in their own individual movies (or as guests in another movie like Black Widow). Again, Hawkeye suffered the most from not having much of an introduction in Thor (did he film other scenes that were cut?)

Good mix of action, exposition and character interaction. A fairly simple story helped with that but it was entertaining from start to finish. Character development in the movie itself was limited but there was some. And despite being the culmination of a "series" of five prior movies it also worked well enough as a stand alone movie that someone coming in without having seen the prior movies wouldn't be completely lost.

Watching a re-run again as I'm writing this. My most fav part is when Hulk slams Loki into the floor, literally beating the shit out of him and then says: "Puny god". One of the best scenes in the movie.:emoji_purple_heart::emoji_purple_heart::emoji_purple_heart:

Showing My Grandma The Avengers For The First Time (Supercut!)

Mimi's up to speed on Phase 1 Marvel, so the time has come for her to watch their first big crossover in her longest video yet! Count on her to mix up characters, marvel at the effects, and provide plenty of laughs.
