From what I've seen of Tom Holland, he gets the vote.

Too bad I can't vote for the voice actor from the 1994 animated series. He's the voice I hear in my head when I read the comics.

Agreed. Despite having had little more than an extended cameo in Captain America: Civil War, I think that Tom Holland has already managed to capture the actual Spidey character of the original Marvel comics more successfully than any of the previous efforts.

Hopefully he can build on that in Spiderman: Homecoming.

    Holland was spot on.

    Maguire was fine.

Garfield was too good looking though. Who walks up to that guy and thinks...nerd? No-one, that's who.

I definitely going with Holland on this one. Maguire had Peter Parker down, for the most part. And he wasn't a terrible Spidey, but he could have been better. Garfield did better in costume, but like @Hux said, he was way too good looking to be believable as an outcast. Holland was believable as Peter - and played smart very well, since Peter's, y'know, a genius - and could also pull off the Spidey banter and had an air about him.

    Basically this.
I also liked that Holland looked young.

By the way, is it just me, or...

Does Nicholas Hammond look a bit like a younger Donald Trump?

    Just wondering...

The least successful person ever in the job he was given.

Very quickly booted out and his reign regarded as a bad memory.

    What resemblance? :emoji_alien:
