Michael Elphick guest stars as Narcissus Bullock, a highwayman ghost who haunts the crossroads near to Motley, the patch where he did his villainy.
Gudgin has inadvertently propelled all the ghosts outside Motley by bringing Bullock's bell into the hall and rung it. The bell has unusual properties and the ghosts materialize miles away, near to Bullock's haunting ground.
Fanny knew him, and apparently he and Narcissus were a bit of a pair of likely lads, rabble rousing ruffians.
Bullock wants Fanny to ditch his ghostly pals and turn Motley into a den of iniquity, a haven for departed villains and loose women. Will he agree?
Last episode, brings back memories watching these again. Very enjoyable like Richard Carpenter's previous series Catweazle .
