    The Tripods

Steven Spielberg was going to make a movie version of this, but chose to do War of the Worlds instead. Since then it has been languishing in a dark corner of Development Hell....

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0441811/?ref_=nv_sr_2

Based on a trilogy of books and a new take after the tv show of the mid eighties that only managed to adapt two of the books before getting cancelled...

    High Noon

Oh no, they could never remake anything better than the original of Sister Act. Just no way...

I totally agree, but somebody has obviously checked the logbook of big earning films of the past and clearly thought it might be worth trying. :emoji_alien:

I had forgotten the Michael Douglas produced Starman. I remember wanting Jeff Bridges as my own
Starman. Such a heart touching story. However they remake it, they better get it right...:):):)

Jason and the Argonauts: The Kingdom of Hades

This was to have been a sequel to the original film, but seems to have died out.

It would have been based on a comic book that Ray Harryhausen was involved with.
