Filmstrip Story—Chad Valley, a U.K. toy company, produced 32 short film-based comic strips containing an original TV-series-era story, packaged as the Chad Valley Picture Show Planet of the Apes Sliderama Projector (very similar to the many Give-a-Show projector sets of the 1970s). These strips are extremely rare and difficult to come by.

Jacqueline Scott actually appeared in two episodes of the television series! The Good Seeds and as Dr.Kira in The Surgeon!

I think that, with a little bit more thought, it had huge potential.

Shame they turned it into the usual fugitives moving from situation to situation every week a la THE INCREDIBLE HULK and any number of shows where the status quo was always the same at the end of every episode.

It was cosy viewing, but needed just a little more imagination, I think.

Wish the powers that be hadn't been so cancellation happy back then, killing many shows before they had really had a chance to find their feet.

Apparently they had an story ready with Mark Lenard playing a human resistance leader and Urko in the same episode! Logan's Run also had an unmade adventure with a mountain containing a live nuclear missile whom the Indian people who lived there sort of worshipped too! Sad these gems of series were cancelled where as certain shows today which are rubbish are given the green light to continue year in and year out!
