The animation that could have been.....

A clip from the failed bid made by an animation company to the BBC.....

In the 1990's rumours swept fandom that episode 4 had been found - and a tape was handed over to the BBC. Hearing about this handover, JNT hastily rang up Michael Craze, dragged him into the nearest Doctor Who exhibition and recorded this introduction for a mooted vhs release of the story.....

The tape then turned out to be blank and the whole thing a total hoax.

Still, it was a spare bit of cash for Michael Craze. Such a shame that he passed before being able to do too many on camera interviews about the show. Like a few other of the early companions, his absence from the dvd range is a shame.

This is my favorite cyberman story, just like The Daleks is my favorite Dalek story. The villains are so vulnerable and pathetic, yet dangerous.

Just checked it, A-M and still playing fine in UK, although the situation is often reversed,.

These blockings all seems a bit arbitrary, country-wise. :emoji_disappointed:
