Sometimes there are characters that you love to hate!

    But what about Negan?

Do you love him as a character?

    Or hate him?

    And, either way, please explain!

Never read the comics but I do love Daryl and I know he was created purely for the show.

His arrival was great but since then I've seriously found him rather underwhelming as a character. I honestly don't grasp why his people follow him and don't just kill him. And the fact that Jeffrey Dean Morgan had skinny, little chicken legs makes him hard to take seriously as a threat.

I don't have anything against Jeffrey Dean Morgan at all, I consider him a fine actor and I loved him as the Winchester's father. Negan on the other hand... his character is soo cartonish for my taste and the problem with this is not on Jeffrey side. It's the directors/writers.

Ever since the series lost major writers because of "differences of opinion" the series has turned from bad to worse and now it's barely watchable.

Negan is just unjustificable, it's not that he is not a good "bad guy" is that it's ridiculous. If anyone can sneak out like that on his fortress, WHY THE HELL ISN'T HE DEAD ALREADY?. The whole "plot" of settlements getting together to fight negan is preposterous and the series is trying so hard to push the idea of "we are all negan" so we, dumb enough, do not question that it is just stupid to begin with.

And this all started with Negan... so I'm gonna say it for once: I HATE NEGAN. It's a stupid character and since it's a stupid character it forces the whole world to behave stupid to justify it's existence.

I never thought about it, but since it's in the comics, and that does seem like something they would drag.
Otherwise, I would think they would just kill him right away.
They may kill him right away because the Negan storyline is unpopular.

    A better episode.

Gotta say, did not see the garbage people betrayal coming but totally saw Sasha killing herself (that's what you get when you announce you're the star of a new Star Trek show). As much as I enjoyed it, the fighting was ludicrous. The Tiger only attacks bad guys? They shoot people who have guns right in the face as they approach? Huh? And Michonne (an established badass) can't kick the ass of some skinny little cabbage patch idiot? What?

    Now we wait til October.

Felt like this season was a pretty much waste of time. More human drama, very less zombies. They are on the outside of a big town and don't have a lots of zombies walking around. When they were in the prison they had lots of foot traffic, and that was with a normal fence.

Sasha I knew was dead when she was talking to Abe, and debating on going. Very simple aka do I/don't I go into the light.

Hoping the next Walking Dead in Mexico/America will have a better season.

I love that The Walking Dead season 7 had 11 million people watch the S7 finale. This is an all time low for the show. Their excuse for this many not watching was WWE WrestleMania and was the ACM - Academy of Country Music were on. I wish TWD would just own up and say they had a crappy and boring season this year. Maybe After the first episode with Glenn and Abe meeting Lucille maybe that ticked people off to. BTW Don't fans of the show read the comics or the comic wiki's at all?

Just read the comic wikis and you'll do fine.

So, the seven season is finished and the outcome was received with mixed feelings.

I personally liked the ending better than the previous season but I do seriously consider that fight scenes were poorly made, people seemed to be shooting at nothing, it was not well orchestrated and Negan escaping is getting a little ridiculous.

What do you think about the final episode?

Having a tiger that only attacks the bad guys sure was lucky. Those unethical people targeting tigers are very rare.

I feel that they dragged out the obvious coffin-death with lots of soap opera farewell scenes.

I think that if each season had been strictly six to ten episodes or something, as season one was, then we could have skipped all the "Talking Dead" scenes and had a tighter, better and more powerful show. with people wanting more from it instead of wishing that there were less scenes.

And good point about the tiger. :emoji_alien:

I watched this TV program up until the episode where they met up with the character of the Governor, played by David Morrissey. By then I'd already had more than enough of this TV series.

Give me a post-apocalyptic film or TV series without zombies for a change. Maybe something with plants - or just people...

I was satisfied with the ending and can over look the fact the Shiva only killed bad people. I really liked how the tiger jumped in at just the right moment.

I like the comics better. The characters and story are more interesting. But like the show, it just drags on and on.

“Walking Dead” Stuntman Has Died From Injuries

    walking-dead-stuntman-has-died-from-injuries-696x464.jpg

Stuntman John Bernecker has passed away following injuries sustained yesterday on the set of the eighth season of AMC’s “The Walking Dead”.

Bernecker has reportedly succumbed to the head injuries he received from 30-foot fall to a concrete floor while “rehearsing a fight scene that was supposed to end with a routine fall from a balcony.”

Bernecker was rushed to the hospital yesterday and AMC halted production following the accident. There is currently no word on when production might resume.

The horrific news comes as the series has already been heavily in the press this week following the posting of expletive filled emails of first season showrunner Frank Darabont into the public record as a part of filings in the ongoing lawsuit over the show’s profits.
