George Cole (with toupee) as a moon base technician being, Roper, blackmailed by the aliens, forced to hand over data to allow the aliens to fly a craft across the surface of the moon undetected when SHADO radar is down due to sunspot activity.
A real tragic ending to this tale as another SHADO operative under alien influence comes for Roper's (Cole) wife with a shotgun whilst Roper is trying to to make amends by trying to take down a UFO on his own on the lunar surface with a mobile hand held rocket mortar.

This episode has a interesting premise, let down somewhat by a poorly thought out , though exciting end. The Aliens have an unmanned probe hidden in orbit around Earth, hidden in space junk. This is a nice idea, there's plenty of leftover bits of junk from Apollo missions floating in orbit, and...
