I remember being very disappointed with this story the first time I saw it.
It feels like they decided on the dullest possible storyline possible, while cheating an expectant audience by only having Spock finally appear at the end of episode one.
Clearly Leonard Nimoy only agreed to this appearance in order to cross promote the then forthcoming STAR TREK VI: THE UNDISCOVERED COUNTRY.
And for the cash, of course.
Denise Crosby also continues to embarrass herself with her desperate attempts to re-inject herself into the show she was so quick to abandon.
I feel that the return of Scotty in RELICS was far preferable to this talky nonsense.
