Was Bo Jackson overrated?
It seems to me that the main reason he's considered one of the top 50 athletes of all time is for trivial matters.
He would hit 20-something homeruns, and there was one season when he hit 32, always with a so-so batting average.
Football-wise, it was more of the same, it wasn't until the season before he was injured that he finally posted real numbers.
Let's face it, he's critically acclaimed for the leaping ability he had, bat-breaking ability, and the ability to back-flip himself in knee-high water.
Not for anything that would actually help his team win. If I'm wrong, someone let me know.
