Constantin Plans A “Wrong Turn” Reboot





Constantin Film is reportedly planning a remake of the West Virginia cannibal film franchise “Wrong Turn” which kicked off in 2003 with a film release via 20th Century Fox. Robert Kulzer will produce.

The new take follows a cross-country hiking expedition by a group of friends in the land of an inclusive society. They soon discover they are under a different rule of law and may not be the victims they thought they were.

Creator Alan McElroy has returned to pen the script with Mike P. Nelson (“The Domestics”) directing. Eliza Dushku, Jeremy Sisto and Emmanuelle Chriqui starred in the original which had five direct-to-video sequels.
