I like the drama "Atonement" from 2007. It stars Keira Knightly. Starts off a little slow, but as the story unrolls, the twists and turns makes it a very entertaining & thought provoking film. Shows how a slight misunderstanding can change the course of several lives.
Atonement is one of my beloved drama films too. I don't usually like this genre (drama), but Atonement is good.

The Fall is another superb drama film. It's a wonder they can achieve such a movie without any computer effects.

2. Mystery Men (1999)
3. Fight Club (1999)
4. Groundhog Day (1993)
5. Dawn of the Dead (1978)
Although I wouldn't put it on my list of Top 5, I still very much enjoy watching this and must give you kudos for listing it. (In fact, it's on my DRV, and I often put it on as something to fall asleep to.)

okay, I've glanced over this post a dozen times and can't decide if you're serious. Because if you're not serious, it's a fabulous bit of humor. If you are serious, that's cool, too. I love the ambiguity.
Never seen it because I've been holding out for a revival theater showing or rerelease. Yeah, I know it'll happen when I'm dead...

What are your favorites? :)
That is not a question that I like to entertain, as in I don't like to be pinned down. I'd say that there are probably 50 films that would flow in and out of such a list, and I'd still be doing a disservice to a whole slew of great titles. But if I can't squirm out of it, among them would be:

Billy Budd (1962)
Cyrano de Bergerac (1950)
Vatel (2000)
Der Untergang (2004)
The Good, The Bad, The Ugly (1966)
Unforgiven (1992)
Amelie (2001)
Get Shorty (1995)
Serenity (2005)
Pulp Fiction (1994)
Once Upon a Time in the West (1969)
Midnight Cowboy (1969)
Airplane! (1980)
Jane Eyre (1943)
Arsenic and Old Lace (1944)
It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963)
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975)
Dr. Strangelove (1964)
A Clockwork Orange (1971)
Apocalypse Now (1979)
Taxi Driver (1976)

(Do you see how cleverly I got out of the five movie limit?) :p :D

5 is simply to small a number to accurately reflect my favourite films. However, during the course of my life I have had 5 "favourite" films...

In the chronological order of when they were my favourites...

SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT (1977)

FIRST BLOOD (1982)

MIDNIGHT EXPRESS (1978)

SCARFACE (1983)

DOCTOR ZHIVAGO (1965)

Of course there are many, many more.

Fright Night Part 2 (1989)

It has been many years since I have seen this one.

I remembered it as a disappointing follow up to the first film, losing a lot of the atmosphere and being a bit too silly in places.

This time around it seemed a little better, although the ending happened far too quickly and easily.

Roddy McDowall is on top form, doing his best with a slightly less well written part this time around.

I can see why this never ended up as a trilogy - and I would still rather watch this than either of the recent remakes....

Towasi, that is a great scene between Anthony Hopkins and Mel Gibson in The Bounty.

Did you know that Christopher Reeve was originally offered the role of Fletcher Christian, but he wouldn't sign the contract, despite Anthony Hopkins ringing him up, urging him to sign it. Enter Mel!

I know I'm in the minority, but I didn't care at all for THE WOMAN IN BLACK. Daniel Radcliffe is amazing in it, and it has a creepy atmosphere, but the movie itself, to me, seemed to be all jump scares and no pay off. I did like that they went with the depressing ending (that's all I'll say in case someone hasn't seen it yet), but it didn't do it for me. I watched the sequel hoping that it might have learned the lessons of the first film and been better. Nope. More nonsensical jump scares, and that's about it.
