Of classic Who, my all time favourite seems to be THE HORROR OF FANG ROCK.

Just some stark and simple storytelling, but what a set up for a tale. Helpless and flawed humans trapped in a lighthouse with a Doctor who has bigger concerns on his mind. And a Doctor who makes a "terrible mistake".

The ending is not what you expected from your average WHO either in terms of the cast of characters...


Worst classic...

Probably THE HIGHLANDERS.

Truly unfair perhaps, because I have never actually seen it, of course, but even in it's audio/Loose Cannon/paperback form it just seems a bit....dull.


New Who best and worst....

God, where does one start...

Worst... KILL THE MOON for it's sheer, outrageous stupidity in just being the story that it was.

Best... MIDNIGHT.

In my opinion, the only episode of the entire revival that deserves to be watched more than once.

The Doctor almost destroyed by petty and ignorantly terrified humans, simply because he is "clever".and does not agree with the herd about killing something they are scared of.
