Skimming over all of them, it seems that some aspects of these films are praiseworthy (usually the effects) but they fall dreadfully short in other departments (usually the acting). Some people - who McCoy would surely have taken off-duty because of their physical unfitness - have clearly just got changed into their convention outfits and have never acted before. And still aren't acting in their film. :emoji_confused: A lot of the comments are, naturally, kind, but the harsh truth, I think, is that nobody could hold any of these up as any kind of success story, apart from maybe STAR TREK CONTINUES and (maybe, just maybe) STAR TREK THE NEW VOYAGES.

Blimey! No wonder Paramount clamped down! :emoji_cold_sweat:
