Review Would You Rather Wait to See a Great, Old, Classic Movie in a Rare Theater-Showing...

The film is so brilliant through here! I feel ansty in my pantsy when they do that reveal. And after Spock gets aboard ship, it turns into an hour and a half of talking. I like my Trek to be cerebral, philosophical, and even talky, but there has to be some sort of action going on. Of course...

    Review Preacher (2016)

Finished. Hulu needs to get season 2 rolling on there. This show is so damned good!

Fun Star Trek: Deep Space Nine

I picked up the first book at a thrift shop and will be reading it soon. Unless I do something rash like sit around talking about movies and television with folks on an internet forum. Oh, wait...

    Fun J.K. Rowling

I agree with @Gavin. I, too, enjoyed Fantastic Beasts, and I think this series is going to be a lot of fun, and certainly will add more depth to a wonderful universe. As much as I love the Star Wars universe, I dislike how it's really not planned out as much as they'd like us to think.

That would be the only reason I would go see that. I keep attempting to re-watch it, but always fall asleep midway.

    Review Preacher (2016)

I have one episode left of season one to watch, and I'm loving it. I can't wait for season two to hit Hulu. Is a tool. Seriously, there is no league, it's him, watching the media and making a big deal out of anything that upsets his delicate sensibilities. He's the American Mary Whitehouse.

Fun Star Trek: The Animated Series

Crazy time travelling device that blends in with its surroundings, a sonic device, a hot companion (two, if you count Isis in her humanoid form), interfering with Earth's events to ensure they go as planned...Dammit, Doc, you may be on to something!

Fun Star Trek: Deep Space Nine

I've still never watched an episode of Game of Thrones, but these two series I approve of.

Fun Star Trek: The Animated Series

True, but he also brought about the story for Assignment: Earth, which is one of my favorites. The episode itself isn't perfect, but it had a pretty good basis (I don't know if the episode's weaknesses are his or Art Wallace's). I would have loved to have seen that spin-off come about...

Fun Star Trek: The Animated Series

Indeed. I don't remember which cast member had said it, but they disliked the fact that they assumed that, being it was animated, they could be more imaginative with the alien designs, and yet, they seemed to stick with very conventional aliens. This works because it fits in with the previous...

    Fun Star Trek: Enterprise

The more we talk through this thread, the more I question why I liked this. :emoji_wink: Yes, it certainly wasn't a strong series, but it really did have such potential, and it felt like, although the writers couldn't develop characters or keep to a set continuity, they had one aspect right...

I watched this one about a year ago. It still holds up. Connery was so good in the role.

    Review Casino Royale (2006)

Agreed. He works as Bond for me. He can be suave and seducing, but then turn and be a cold blooded killer. After Le Chiffre tortures him, the film hits a slow patch. It's needed for storytelling, but maybe could have been trimmed. A bit.

Hated this one. But then, Goldeneye was really the only Brosnan era Bond film I really enjoyed.
