I agree with @Gavin. I, too, enjoyed Fantastic Beasts, and I think this series is going to be a lot of fun, and certainly will add more depth to a wonderful universe. As much as I love the Star Wars universe, I dislike how it's really not planned out as much as they'd like us to think.

That would be the only reason I would go see that. I keep attempting to re-watch it, but always fall asleep midway.

True, but he also brought about the story for Assignment: Earth, which is one of my favorites. The episode itself isn't perfect, but it had a pretty good basis (I don't know if the episode's weaknesses are his or Art Wallace's). I would have loved to have seen that spin-off come about...

Indeed. I don't remember which cast member had said it, but they disliked the fact that they assumed that, being it was animated, they could be more imaginative with the alien designs, and yet, they seemed to stick with very conventional aliens. This works because it fits in with the previous...

The more we talk through this thread, the more I question why I liked this. :emoji_wink: Yes, it certainly wasn't a strong series, but it really did have such potential, and it felt like, although the writers couldn't develop characters or keep to a set continuity, they had one aspect right...

I watched this one about a year ago. It still holds up. Connery was so good in the role.

Agreed. He works as Bond for me. He can be suave and seducing, but then turn and be a cold blooded killer. After Le Chiffre tortures him, the film hits a slow patch. It's needed for storytelling, but maybe could have been trimmed. A bit.

Yeah, I was looking him up when Iron Fist came out, and had to go back and watch that episode.

Hated this one. But then, Goldeneye was really the only Brosnan era Bond film I really enjoyed.

And seeing a pre-Iron Fist Finn Jones as Jo Grant's grandson was cool.

He did dress up in his dad's outfit for a pic (publicity, Halloween, something...), and he looked incredible!
