23/11/2019. DOCTOR WHO turns 56 today...
It all started out as a mild curiosity in the junkyard and now it's turned out to be quite a great spirit of adventure... And then Classic Who ended, we had a hiatus of approximately 15 years - broken up by DIMENSIONS IN TIME and DOCTOR WHO: THE MOVIE - and then came New Who, which is about to broadcast series 12.
At this point in Classic Who's history, we were about to see the first season of the fourth Doctor, whereas with New Who, we're about to see... well, I don't know and I don't give a fuck. Don't get me wrong. I still enjoy DOCTOR WHO, just not in the way I used to. I now keep tabs on it just to see what a shit show it's become.
Anyway, many "happy returns" to a television institution.
