Review Tonight! "Twin Peaks" S02E13 “Checkmate”

Yes, Audrey is a more relevant character, so it would be good for the show if she would step up and take over at least some of the jobs done by her father.

Review Tonight! "Twin Peaks" S02E13 “Checkmate”

TWIN PEAKS Season 2 Episode 13: “Checkmate” Oh, I wish Twin Peaks could focus on one or two good stories, but instead, because of its format, it keeps skipping from one broken story line to another. The episode started very well, with Briggs giving a moving account of his mysterious...

Aired Thursday 9:00 PM Jan 19, 1991 on ABC Major Briggs is all ready to reveal some important information about the White Lodge and what kind of metaphysical experience he went through.Don't miss it! Also, somebody dies, Cooper gets a job, and we learn why chess can be a much more dangerous...

Review Tonight! "Twin Peaks" S02E12 “The Black Widow”

TWIN PEAKS Season 2 Episode 12: “The Black Widow” I liked last week’s episode quite a lot because we had fresh new plots and characters. But that was the thing with the Twin Peaks soap format: that was the beginning of several arcs and now we just had… the middle of it. Or one middle. So...

Review Tonight! "Twin Peaks" S02E12 “The Black Widow”

Aired Thursday 9:00 PM Jan 12, 1991 on ABC Cooper's situation is about to be resolved, one way or another. The plot with James and the rich lady thickens. Major Brigg's case gets more interesting and more questions are raised. Last episode's wedding plot has a curious development. Denise wears...

Review Tonight! "Twin Peaks" S02E11 “Masked Ball”

Ha, ha! I think Don S. Davies is so closely associated with SG-1 that I can't think of him in any other role, especially when he's also playing a military again.

Review Tonight! "Twin Peaks" S02E11 “Masked Ball”

Congratulations! You got it. Yes, we know Fox Mulder from "The X Files," but most people tend to forget the spinoff, which counts as another show. That's one of the shows I wouldn't mind taking a look next.

Review Tonight! "Twin Peaks" S02E11 “Masked Ball”

TWIN PEAKS Season 2 Episode 11: “Masked Ball” I’ve had a busy couple of weeks and I have to admit I’m not always in the mood for this show, but this episode was nice, even though nothing really consistent happened. For starters, we are welcomed by the image of a “futuristic” Apple laptop...

Review Tonight! "Twin Peaks" S02E11 “Masked Ball”

Aired Thursday 9:00 PM Dec 15, 1990 on ABC Major Briggs is missing -- but then we already knew that! Same with the FBI investigation on Cooper. Cooper learns about the legend of the Black and White Lodges from Hawk. CAST Kyle MacLachlan ...Special Agent Dale Cooper Michael Ontkean ...Sheriff...

Review Tonight! "Twin Peaks" S02E10 “Dispute Between Brothers”

Hee, hee. At first I was surprised because I really was. But later I was being facetious. The thing is, you heard that extra dialogue portion about the abortion clinic, but I didn't. It turns out that was a red herring that misled you,and since I obviously don't remember it at all, the plot was...

Review Tonight! "Twin Peaks" S02E09 “Arbitrary Law”

MYSTERY REVEALED: And the answer was... right there a little above the note. It turns out Tim Hunter is probably your favorite TV director and you didn't even know it. The guy has done (literally figuratively) everything! Yet, I guess he'll never be famous among the general public. Tim Hunter...

Review Tonight! "Twin Peaks" S02E09 “Arbitrary Law”

See? You keep talking about Mr. Homn. That character really impressed you. But no, that's not it.

Review Tonight! "Twin Peaks" S02E09 “Arbitrary Law”

Yes, you got part of the answer. I was, indeed, inspired by the new Blacklist season which is on, and whose first episode i found very good. But then, as I was listing those names, I found out something very interesting I'll divulge below.

Review Tonight! "Twin Peaks" S02E09 “Arbitrary Law”

Indeed, I'm glad you pointed out Mr. Wise's performance. He's really the kind of actor that adds a special flavor to an otherwise trivial story (which is not the case here).

Review Tonight! "Twin Peaks" S02E09 “Arbitrary Law”

I've been away... and I'm back. The Mr. Homn credit was actually for you, because you keep mentioning it. But no. that was not the secret credit of the week, not the big one. The Michael Horse's credit is part of another thing, a group credit reference.
