That's terrible that you were told that, because being a band geek, I knew a lot of female trumpet players. However, back in my day, boys were looked down upon for playing the clarinet or the flute, because those were looked at as "chick" instruments.

I don't have any pictures, but when I get some taken, I'll post them. I have a Fender Jazzmaster (year unknown), a Squire P-Bass, and a Washburn Lyon acoustic. I gave my son my SX Les Paul style, and he has a Fender 3/4 acoustic that my dad gave him. I also have a really sweet Yamaha keyboard...
