I can only disagree with a couple of things. I loved Martin Freeman as Dent, and I liked Alan Rickman doing the voice of Marvin, even though the robot itself was bollocks. Sam Rockwell was passable as Zaphod, but too over the top to be completely likable. The rest, as you say, utter crap.

I've always liked them as a villain. I really enjoyed their return during Smith's run, but that episode also had some really great actors in it, so that helped. I can't wait to see them return tomorrow.

That's how I feel about James Luceno, who has written many a novel in the Star Wars catalogue. His writing is dry, and at times really hard to get through. However, he's one of the authors that a lot of other Star Wars fans seem to like, and he's been writing many of the newer "canon" novels...
