As I was just about to write.... This one I could live in. Bookshelves, a globe, a desk, comfy chairs. What more could one ask for. I even like the varnished floor at the bottom of the screen.

We could always imagine that that's the giant Queen Macra that we never got to see! Damned BBC budgets!! I can't see Polly fighting it in a powerloader though. And I doubt that Ian Stuart Black would have been permitted to use the word "bitch" at that time of day either.

The American documentaries in the eighties that used to regularly say "Dahhk-terr Who!" was one thing. Now along comes this lady with "Per-Twee" and "Traw-ton"! :emoji_confused:

These are uniformly fantastic! Love the glass floor/visible underfoot power source in one of them - and how sleek, metallic (blue) and functional another one is. They all provide interesting - and sometimes breathtaking - new riffs on the old console room.

Did you know that they resumed publication, JB, for just a few issues, I think something like 20 odd years later. Sadly it was not a success.......

The idea of the Tardis being manifested as a character in the console column in the top picture is a bit jarring, but that's quite an interesting development. The top one particularly looks like a great place to hang out in! Love the flipped-around doorway in the bottom one too.
