In Norway on 22 July 2011, right-wing terrorist Anders Behring Breivik murdered 77 young people attending a Labour Party Youth Camp on Utøya Island outside of Oslo. A three-part story. About the survivors of the attacks, the political leadership of Norway, and the lawyers involved.

First Trailer: Paul Greengrass’ “22 July”

Netflix has premiered the official trailer for “The Bourne Ultimatum” and “United 93” director Paul Greengrass’ new film “22 July”.

The story is based on Asne Seierstad’s novel “One of Us” and deals with the true story of the aftermath of Norway’s deadliest terrorist attack which took place on July 22nd 2011.

Seventy-seven people were killed when a far-right extremist detonated a car bomb in Oslo before carrying out a mass shooting at a leadership camp for teens.

The film follows one survivor’s physical and emotional journey and melds that with the country’s path to healing and reconciliation. Anders Danielsen Lie, Jon Oigarden, Jonas Strand Gravli, Maria Bock, Thorbjørn Harr, Ola G. Furuseth, Seda Witt and Isak Bakli Aglen star.

The film will be released Wednesday, October 10th in select theaters and globally on Netflix.
