Daring British WWI fighter pilot James "Biggles" Bigglesworth and 1980s low-level business executive Jim Ferguson discover that they can time travel to each other's eras. They try to stop the Germans from changing the outcome of WWI.

Even when it came out I thought this was a doomed attempt to make a dated hero relevant, ironically dating the movie even more with the 80's business.

Having said that, I think a Biggles movie set in the actual era and honouring the original text might - just might - work nowadays, with a great director. Just skip all the time travel nonsense.

On reflection though, maybe some heroes really are of their time.

Great to see Peter Cushing still working at the time though.

Having just checked, it was indeed his last ever movie.....
