Details: “Godsend” and “Killing Bono” director Nick Hamm has assembled a great cast for “Driven,” a Puerto Rico-shot thriller about the FBI sting operation to entrap maverick car designer John DeLorean (Lee Pace). Jason Sudeikis stars as Jim Hoffman, a con artist turned informer for the FBI in the war on drugs.
His handler (Timothy Olyphant) is determined to snare the enigmatic DeLorean (Pace) who is desperate for cash and planning a drug deal to finance his dream of designing the ultimate car of the future. The result became one of the big celebrity scandals of the 1980s. Judy Greer and Justin Bartha also have key roles.
